Ham Rollups
A depression era recipe

Quick, Easy and affordable

My sister Diane and I had many a meal of Ham Rollups growing up in the 1950's. It was a depression era dinner that our mother Evelyn made often because it was quick, easy and cheap! To this day, Diane and I make this meal occasionally. But, her husband David and my wife Tess, don't seem to enjoy it like we do... go figure... some people just don't have good taste. You be the judge!

Simple Ingredients:
Thin sliced deli style ham
Spaghetti
Grated cheddar cheese
Yellow
mustard
Hot horseradish
Milk

Cook and drain the spaghetti
and set aside

Spread a generous layer of yellow mustard and horseradish across the ham

Layer on the cooled spaghetti and sprinkle with
grated cheddar cheese

Roll the ham around the spaghetti using toothpicks

Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with
more grated cheddar cheese

Add a quarter inch of milk to the bottom of the dish

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
(I go 35 minutes to make
my spaghetti crunchy)
Now who wouldn't like this!!!
